Can Dogs Eat Broccoli?

Broccoli is another vegetable that is packed full of nutritional health and value; for this reason, it's a good one to feed to your canine companions to boost their energy levels and ensure they stay as healthy as you are. Like raw bell peppers, broccoli is the perfect thing to feed to your dog for its health. In fact, it contains more Vitamin C than oranges!

However, despite the health benefits and the fact that broccoli is safe for dogs, you shouldn't let your dog eat it too often. If your dog consumes too much broccoli, it might get a sore tummy.

Make sure to avoid adding any seasoning or oil when preparing broccoli for your furry friend, but dogs can be served either cooked or raw broccoli.

How much broccoli can you give your dog? As long as it doesn't exceed 10% of the amount of regular dog food they have in a day, they can enjoy this treat.

Just like in humans, broccoli can make your pooch a little gassy - you've been warned!
